- first names, capital and lowercase letters, “I can see, hear, smell, taste, feel…”
sight words: Review (here, is, am, I, see, me, a, my, to, up) New (in, the, at, he, can, go)
- Math Continue calendar, number sense, reading, writing, and counting numbers (and objects/pictures) to TWENTY, continue SHAPES (circle, square, rectangle, triangle), continue SORTING SHAPES by common attributes, INTRODUCE PATTERNS! In real life, we CAN look for PATTERNS to make sense of situations and solve problems. Patterns copy/repeat themselves.
- Science Continue PROPERTIES OF MATTER: All objects have physical properties, which include color, shape or form, texture, and size. Properties are independent of each other.
- Social Studies Continue CITIZENSHIP, AMERICAN SYMBOLS and TRADITIONS: We CAN understand how communities express patriotism through events and symbols by recognizing the American flag, the Pledge of Allegiance, and knowing that the president is the leader of the United States. CITIZENS have JOBS to help our communities…Let’s make our CLASS JOBS!
